Because we are committed to maintaining excellence in our work, we, unlike other tutoring services, do not hire lesser-qualified tutors as employees, which means students work exclusively with Mike or Terri.
Both Mike and Terri maintain active State of California Teaching Credentials in both math and science.
A major advantage of our tutoring center is that both Mike and Terri expertly tutor math, science, Spanish, and English, which means that, unlike other tutoring services, students do not have a "subject-specific" tutor who can only handle one subject. Rather, a student can get help with AP physics homework, an English essay, and calculus all in the same session.
Additionally, because we maintain a tutoring center (rather than meeting students online or at coffee shops or other locations), our students are encouraged to come to our office at any time to use our resources. Many of our students spend several hours a day at our center.
Because we have tutored in Davis since 1997, we are very familiar with the classes and teachers in the Davis school district.
